SERVER COMMON FEATURES

It’s probably easier to say what doesn’t come with our Linux hosting as we took the view that customers should get everything that’s available at one price. Our only main option is 30 day Back-up which is not included as standard (manual 1-click back-up is included)

SSD storage which Load Impact measured as being 480% faster (see below). The test was however designed to show off our Optimised WordPress Hosting vs popular hosting companies’ general shared hosting platforms (slightly biased towards our own product). You can however expect blisteringly fast performance from all our hosting packs. 

WORDPRESS OPTIMISED FEATURES

Its fast not just because SSDs are much faster and more responsive than hard drives, but because the whole server system is designed to flow WordPress websites from code to web as quickly and efficiently as possible.

For example… Our WordPress platform sits behind a pre-configured NGINX edge cache system: StackCache. It speeds up page loading for users. Although it works straight out of the box, advanced users might want to manage the cached content themselves. The StackCache plugin interface inside WordPress allows this.

LINUX STANDARD STORAGE

This is our default storage platform and ideal for any kind of website.

WINDOWS PREMIUM STORAGE

This is our Windows server product. Please note that while MySQL databases are free SQL Server is not and if you need this database service you must pay the usual Microsoft License Fees.
